Resorcinol diglycidyl ether YLD-6010 (CAS NO. 101-90-6), melting point 33-35°C, yellow to red-brown viscous liquid. Epoxy resins containing resorcinol-based are characterized by high reactivity, obvious viscosity drop, fast curing, high crosslinking density, and better hardness, heat resistance, electrical insulation and chemical resistance.
It can be used as high heat casting plastics, fiber composite materials, adhesives and coatings, electrical potting materials and reactive diluents. It can also be used as a viscosity improver for phenolic resins.
