Polyether amine B-100, CAS144736-30-1, is a monoamine polymerlize by nonyl phenol and propylene epoxide.
Polyether amine is liquid at room temperature, molecular weight is about 1000, soluble in methanol, petroleum ether, white electric oil, solvent oil, etc.
Polyether amine B-100 is often used as a dispersant and a pigment dispersion intermediate for ink coating systems. The advantage of B-100 is that it is highly hydrophobic, so it can be used especially for oil-based or solvent-based inks and coatings. When used as a dispersant, its terminal amine groups have a higher reactivity than ethanol.
