Epoxy resins have different viscosity requirements depending on the application. When good levelling, impregnation and casting effects are required, users often need a lower viscosity to meet the process conditions. Adding epoxy diluents to reduce viscosity and improve the process performance of epoxy resins is a common approach.

Reactive diluents are low molecular epoxy compounds that contain one or more than two epoxy groups in their molecular structure. Reactive diluents participate in the curing reaction, reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin at the same time, and can make the cured material has a high crosslinking density. Activated diluents can not only meet the performance requirements of epoxy resin, but also better meet the needs of environmental protection.
