Bisphenol A diallyl ether is a colourless to pale yellow liquid with low volatility and high oil solubility at room temperature. It has a high melting point and boiling point and can withstand higher temperatures. It is an important organic synthesis intermediate, mainly used as crosslinking agent for epoxy resin.
Bisphenol A diallyl ether has a wide range of applications in organic synthesis, coatings, adhesives and resins. It is also used in the preparation of specific classes of rubber and plastics. It is used in high-end applications including adhesives for semiconductor wafer surfaces, photoresist materials, silicone rubber modifiers, impact resistant prepreg blanks, molding of fibre-reinforced structural components, hybrid materials for high temperature and chemical resistance, high temperature coating, waterproofing, corrosion protection.
