1-Hexanol, also known as hexan-1-ol or hexyl alcohol, is a colorless liquid with a slightly floral odor. It is moderately soluble in water and highly soluble in most organic solvents.
It is colorless liquid with boiling point 157 °C, relative density 0.819 g/cm3. It is miscible with ethanol, propylene glycol and oil. It has a light green smell of young branches and leaves, with a hint of wine, fruit and fat. Hexanol or its carboxylate esters are present in trace amounts in citrus, berries, etc. It also found in tea and various essential oils such as gerania leaf oil, lavender oil, banana, apple, strawberry, violet leaf oil, etc.

Keep sealed in a dry, cool place. Can be stored in iron, mild steel, copper or aluminum containers. It is best to keep in a well-sealed original container.
